Ahem. Sorry about that.

Yeah, I haven't been around in a while. LOADS of stuff happening, mainly my baby brother. D'aw. Cute, yes. Time-consuming, yes. Seriously, no matter how much work you think they are, they're always more work than that. At least I'm not expected to reproduce for another 30 or so years... hopefully.

SO! Current projects I'm working on:
New video before the summer hols;
Screenplay finishing;
Artwork for a different screenplay;
And some form of music animation.

I did a video with the school for LAFTAs, but I can't put it on Youtube. Sad Face. Ah well, maybe next time...
I have got a lot of work done. Turns out, angst? REALLY useful for writing. Just need to tie it together now.

Squad 13 Prelude

So a few years ago I made a couple of episodes of a series about a game called Advance Wars. In fact, one of my remaining videos is a flash test done for that. well, now I actually have Flash, I've decided to go back to it. I do still need Fireworks, but not to the same degree. Hopefully, should be done in a couple of months.

But 'till then, he's a prequel comic:

Hey! I wanted a progessive post, and this is... slightly one.

Yep, my first video in two/three years is up on Youtube. I would link it, but chances are you came from there anyway. Theres loads I hate about it: Audio quality; the seam where two films are used; the fact my computor can't play it without lagging. And my voice... oh, my voice...

But still, front foot forward, or something like that. Hopefully I'll improve now, and if I'm still posting then somethings going right. And I've got the flashes to work on...

Desolate

For the first time in my life, I feel I'm existing rather than living; drifting through life until something happens.

For those who can't read into every word, I'll elaborate. I'll start with the play. Last week my school put on 'Death of a Salesman', and it was very well recievedby the people who saw it. The guy playing Willy did incredibly well, considering 75% of the play is him. I always thought I was a crap yet ambitious actor (Thanks to my voice), but people have told me I did well, and could benefit from always having that confidence. So if I can act, that's one less excuse for constantly not doing any filming. And now I also have more free time in the week, which I really don't need more of.

You see, since I booted up the Xbox again in August 2009, I've been addicted to it. Thinking about it, I could spend 30 hours a week on it. Not enougth to be harmful, but enougth to affect grades and freetime. Which brings me to school. I had an Economics module in January, and got a D. So I'm taking the chance and completely revoltionising how I work. Except... thinking about Year 13 and Uni makes me feel more isolated. I'm isolated now out of choice, and partially because I joined the school after the groups formed, so if I wanted t change that at uni I could... in theory. I'll probaly spend 5 years reclused in my room, alone.

And year 13... the only thing keeping me heading for it is one promise I made to myself about someone. Otherwise, I'ld be constantly reconsidering my path here. But no matter what I do, I keep looking too long term and thinking 'Will this matter in 5 years?'. How many 17 year olds do that? Barely any. They consider going out and getting hammered a worthwhile thing. I look at my plan for a screenplay and get demoralised.

God, that was a depressing read.
Tell you what, if you read that, you get 10 Orhun Points. Treat them wisely. No, don't dunk them-- I have them back, actually. How about a progressive post next time? Yeah. OK.

So the snow on Tuesday was unexpected... But it allowed me to finally... Wait for it... Actually film!

Well, I say that. I ended up rushing it and the current playback looks terrible. So I may have to redo it at the weekend with a quick rewrite. But still... I did something. Yay.

I love this cold weather.
On Sunday night, our pipes decided to burst, causing one of our room's ceiling to start leaking water all over the place. Spent two hours trying to stop it/moving things.

And now, I have nausea, tiredness, acheness, solid eyes and a tail. Thanks water. I really needed this.

Procrastination

At the start of a holiday, or even a weekend, I like to write a list of stuff I want to do, so I can remember all of them. My list for the next two and a half weeks has about 7 things on it. After I wrote it, here was my train of thought:

1- Look at the list.
2- Switch on Xbox.

Well, this'll be a purposeful holiday...

Yes, the first episode's scripted, and I've got to film in the ruddy cold. Yaaaay. I'm planning on posting it January 1st, so, here's hoping...

Jet Lag, and Lag

Well, America was fun. You get all sorts of... iteresting, shall we say, people across the pond. Still, in this sleep-deprived state, I've had a lot of thinking time. But you don't care about that. And by you, I mean YOU, the one person who followed the link.

Business-wise... it's slow. Ever try doing work on you own? Not easy. And I would prefer making a couple before I break out the greenscreen... but anyway. This weekend, hopefully...

The Tuesday Topic

Parts of the filming at the weekend got done. I got up off my arse and did something for once (I'm so proud). However, I will pull my old excuse out; Light condition and timing means I can't film during the week.

Also, I've got a second AND third project to work on. Combine this with all the other stuff I do and I'm going to be busy. I hope for your sake it's good.

BTW, Tuesday is the holy day, so expect the... odder, shall we say, posts on Tuesdays.

In The Beginning...

Anyone who's followed the link from my Youtube channel knows about the long, long, long, long, long, long, long hiatus I've had from making films. I could make a load of excuses (GCSEs, other creative projects, DoE, gaming and my general laziness) but it all really comes down to me putting it off.

So this weekend, I'm starting up again. Filming will be dependant on weather (It gets very windy around here), but I do want the first one up before I go to the US on the 23rd. Once again, I will say that the Toa series will not be making a comeback unless a production crew drops out the sky for me.

So, owing to the difficulty of posting stuff like this on Youtube, updates on filming will be posted here, as well as some other bloggy stuff. So, you know, check back again soon. Please?
